The Nitty-Gritty of Forever: Focusing on Stewardship
The 2017 New York State Land Trust Symposium will bring together a diverse, sophisticated and enthusiastic group of conservation leaders and practitioners for an interactive one-day, statewide conference in the heart of Saratoga Spa State Park. The Symposium’s theme — "The Nitty Gritty of Forever: Focusing on Stewardship" — underscores a commitment and approach to land conservation that will stand the test of time.
Help lead the conversation and exchange ideas on urgent and important issues. The 2017 Symposium will feature six workshops covering three tracks:
- Best practices in stewardship
- Conservation defense and legal challenges
- Planning for climate resilience and renewable energy development
